We are excited to announce that our organization in Phoenix, Arizona, is looking for Fellows for the academic year 2026-2027 across various Fellowship Programs outlined below. Fellowship ProgramsHip and Knee Reconstruction Fellowship

Program Director: Steven Myerthall, MD

Faculty: Amalia de Comas, MD; Mark Campbell, MD; Justin Butler, DO

This 12-month fellowship offers a unique and rigorous curriculum. Fellows will receive extensive training under the mentorship of seasoned Adult Reconstruction surgeons, all of whom have completed their own fellowships. Participants will engage in dedicated rotations and, based on previous cohorts, will actively take part in over 500 routine and complex adult reconstruction surgeries. The program also includes comprehensive training in robotics. The Adult Reconstructive Service is recognized nationally for managing a high volume of complex revision cases, giving fellows substantial exposure to tumor reconstruction due to the diverse expertise of the faculty. This program is known for its excellence in both clinical practice and education.

Interventional Spine/Pain Medicine Fellowship

Program Director: Anuj Daftari, MD

Faculty: Eric Feldman, MD; Kurt (Adam) Lundberg, DO

This 12-month clinical fellowship emphasizes non-operative spine care and interventional pain management. Fellows will work alongside physicians who have completed fellowships and are part of a large, dynamic multidisciplinary team in Phoenix. Key skills developed will include various interventional spine procedures such as lumbar, thoracic, and cervical epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency neurotomy, sympathetic blocks, and spinal cord stimulator trials. The fellowship also covers medication management, fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided injections, and electrodiagnostic techniques. Additionally, fellows may choose elective rotations in orthopedic spine surgery and neuroradiology, along with numerous research opportunities. Successful completion of the fellowship qualifies participants for board certification through the American Board of Pain Medicine.

Spine Fellowship

Program Directors: Ali Araghi, DO; Norman Chutkan, MD

This one-year post-residency fellowship focuses on the management of spinal disorders. The Spine Division consists of skilled leaders in all aspects of spine surgical treatment, supported by a team of pain management and rehabilitation specialists who provide non-operative care. The fellowship encompasses both surgical and non-surgical evaluations, including preoperative assessments and patient selection. Surgical training will involve advanced minimally invasive and open techniques for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, addressing degenerative conditions, tumors, fractures, and adult deformities. Fellows will actively participate in monthly spine conferences and journal clubs. They will also have access to a biomechanical research lab, motion analysis lab, and a clinical research team equipped with regulatory, contract, grant, and research coordinators.
