Job Description
What You Will Do
\n- \n
- Conduct daily field inspections of electrical installations. \n
- Compare installed work against drawings, specifications, approved submittals, manufacturer instructions, project quality standards, and applicable electrical codes. \n
- Inspect switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, busway, feeders, raceways, cable tray, grounding and bonding, labeling, and terminations. \n
- Verify equipment installation, conductor preparation, torque requirements, phase identification, clearances, workmanship, and installation completeness. \n
- Review and document electrical torque, megger, continuity, grounding, and voltage-testing activities. \n
- Create clear inspection reports, punch-list items, deficiency notices, photographs, and quality-control records using project software. \n
- Communicate deficiencies directly and professionally to electricians, foremen, superintendents, and project leadership. \n
- Reinspect corrected work and track deficiencies through final closure. \n
- Support energization readiness, pre-functional testing, commissioning, turnover, and final project documentation. \n
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of inspected work in English. \n
Minimum Qualifications
\n- \n
- Five or more years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experience. \n
- At least two years performing dedicated electrical QA/QC, field inspection, commissioning support, electrical supervision, or equivalent quality-control responsibilities. Actual QA/QC experience is required, not just electrical installation experience. \n
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code. \n
- Ability to read electrical drawings, one-lines, specifications, submittals, installation details, and manufacturer requirements. \n
- Ability to write clear, defensible inspection reports and punch-list items. \n
- Demonstrated ability to read and write English proficiently. \n
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment. \n
- Reliable transportation and ability to satisfy project-specific background, drug-screening, and safety requirements. \n
Preferred Qualifications
\n- \n
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Forma is a huge asset. \n
- Experience with CX Planner or CX Alloy is highly preferred. \n
- Active or previously held Journeyman or Master Electrician license. \n
- Previous data-center electrical QA/QC experience. \n
- Commissioning or energization-readiness experience. \n
- OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E training. \n
- Experience completing inspection and test plans, torque logs, test reports, punch lists, deficiency logs, and turnover packages. \n
