Journeyman Electrician – Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team for a long-term infrastructure project in the Norfolk VA area. This project involves a mix of underground and above-ground electrical work, including trenching, conduit installation, cable pulling, terminations, and rack installation. Candidates must be well-rounded electricians with strong field experience and the ability to work safely and efficiently.This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with the potential for long-term employment for individuals who demonstrate reliability, skill, and strong communication.Key Responsibilities

  • Perform underground trenching and conduit installation (PVC).
  • \n
  • Install and work with above-ground rigid conduit systems.
  • \n
  • Complete electrical terminations, cable pulling, and rack installation.
  • \n
  • Read and follow electrical plans, diagrams, and instructions.
  • \n
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
  • \n
  • Communicate effectively in English with supervisors and team members.
  • \n
  • Follow all company safety policies and project requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be an all-around Journeyman Electrician with proven field experience.
  • \n
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments.
  • \n
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
  • \n
  • Reliable transportation to the West Point, VA job site.
  • \n
  • Availability for 40-50 hours per week (no per diem offered).
  • \n
  • Must be available for an interview prior to onboarding.
  • \n

Compensation

  • $30.00 – $34.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • \n
  • No per diem is available for this project.
  • \n
