\n The Role\n
\n As a Senior MLS, you will be directly responsible for the daily technical operations of a 24/7 laboratory environment. Beyond performing and interpreting complex testing, you will serve as a mentor and supervisor, ensuring the highest standards of accreditation readiness and staff competency.\n
\n
\n

\n Core Responsibilities\n
\n- \n
- Technical Leadership: Manage daily operations, implement new instrumentation, and oversee staff training and education. \n
- Quality & Compliance: Lead accreditation readiness, ensure accurate proficiency survey submissions, and manage departmental policies and procedures. \n
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze Performance Improvement (PI) data to document progress and drive efficiency. \n
- Mentorship: Provide immediate supervision and competency assessments for lab staff and students. \n
- Testing & Analysis: Perform laboratory testing, interpret results using deep scientific knowledge of disease processes, and recommend contingency testing when necessary. \n
\n Qualifications\n
\n- \n
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemical Science. \n
- Certification: Active ASCP Certification is required. \n
- Experience: Proven experience in a clinical lab setting with a focus on technical oversight or supervision. \n
