APS is hiring Structural Welder/Fitters for a shop assignment in Southeast Kansas.

Must be willing to weld, fit, hang sheet metal, install insulation, and other mechanical tasks in a fabrication shop.

Pay: $28-$31

Per Diem: $85 a day x 7 days a week (as long as you work all your shifts)

Schedule: 5 x 12's with the possiblility of additional OT(Sat/Sun). Day Shift and Night Shift (the largest demand is on Nights)

Travel: $500 Travel in and out if criteria is met

Scope: Building and fabricating large industrial enclosures. Welded squre tubing structure and 10 gauge sheet metal exterior. Working off ladders, scissor lifts, manlifts. Must have a strong attention to detail. Upon qualification, you will be provided a general tool list, but basic hand tools are required and power tools are a plus.

Must be able to pass Weld Test: Vertical and Horizontal w/ metal backing strip on Flux Core. Fillet Weld on MIG hardwire.
