Journeyman Electrician Nursing Home Renovation Project

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday Friday | 40 Hours Per Week
Location: Commercial Nursing Home Project

Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking experienced Journeymen Electricians for an active nursing home renovation project. This position is ideal for electricians with strong commercial construction experience who are comfortable working independently and safely in attic spaces while performing electrical installations and equipment hookups.

The work will primarily take place in the attic space of an occupied or renovated nursing home facility. The attic is fully accessible and tall enough to stand and work comfortably.

Job Responsibilities

• Install and terminate MC (Metal Clad) cable throughout the facility.
\n
• Wire and connect PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) HVAC units.
\n
• Install, wire, and assist with the setup of 400-amp electrical panels.
\n
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications.
\n
• Perform commercial electrical rough-in and finish work.
\n
• Pull wire, make terminations, and troubleshoot electrical systems as needed.
\n
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with NEC standards and local codes.
\n
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while adhering to all jobsite safety requirements.
\n
• Work efficiently as part of a commercial electrical team to meet project deadlines.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Minimum of 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred.
\n
• Experience installing MC cable and commercial electrical systems.
\n
• Previous experience wiring HVAC equipment, including PTAC units, is highly preferred.
\n
• Experience working with electrical distribution equipment, including 400-amp panels.
\n
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
\n
• Must have basic hand tools and PPE appropriate for commercial electrical work.
\n
• Ability to work safely in attic spaces and commercial construction environments.
\n
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
\n
