Our organization is in search of a committed and empathetic Respiratory Therapist to become a part of our healthcare team in Colorado Springs, CO. The perfect candidate will deliver specialized respiratory care to patients, ensuring their comfort while enhancing lung function through thorough assessment, treatment, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, treat, and monitor individuals with respiratory issues and disorders.
  • Provide respiratory therapy interventions, including oxygen therapy, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and support for mechanical ventilation.
  • Work alongside physicians and healthcare professionals to create and execute tailored patient care plans.
  • Instruct patients and their families on managing respiratory conditions and the correct usage of respiratory devices.
  • Keep precise patient records and document all treatments administered.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license or certification.
  • Preferred prior experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Comprehensive understanding of respiratory care techniques and equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • CPR certification is mandatory.
