NP Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery locum position in Las Vegas, NV-

Locum tenens opportunity for an experienced cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery Nurse Practitioner in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is based at an acute care hospital, and offers a chance to work closely with a high-performing cardiovascular and thoracic surgery team.Details:\n

• Start Date: September 25, 2025
\n
• Location: Las Vegas, NV
\n
• Setting: Acute care hospital
\n
• Schedule: 15–20 days per month
\n
• Availability: Prefer blocks of 2–3 months for team continuity
\n
• EMR: Cerner
\n

Responsibilities:\n

\n
• First assist in complex CVT surgical procedures
\n
• Inpatient management including pre-, peri-, and postoperative care
\n
• Rotating 24-hour first call coverage for CVT service
\n
• Rounding, interdisciplinary coordination, and ER consults
\n
• Diagnostic test interpretation and medication management
\n
• Collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team
\n
• Must have full first assist capabilities for complex CVT procedures
\n
• CVT experience is required – candidates without this background will not be considered
\n

\n

Requirements :

\n

\n
• NV state license; active, unrestricted
\n
• Certifications- BLS, ACLS, DEA
\n

\n

Compensation:
