Locums - Neurosurgery NP/PA opportunity in northwestern Pennsylvania

Locums - A well respected hospital system is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with Neurosurgery coverage in northwestern Pennsylvania.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
\n
• Start August 2026 for ongoing need
\n
• Minimum of 1 year of neurosurgery or surgical experience required
\n
• Weekend coverage is highly prioritized with rare and sporadic additional weekday opportunities available
\n
• Friday 5p-7a; Sat/Sun 7a-7a; weekdays would be 7a-5p when needed
\n
• Responsibilities include rounding, consults, admissions, floor call management
\n
• Approx 15-20 ppd
\n
• Adult patient population
\n
• Call is telephone based (calls from floor and placing orders), will not require provider to be on-site after hospital shift hours
\n
• First assist experience preferred but not required
\n
• Cases included spine and cranial neurosurgery patients
\n
• EMR EPIC
\n
• PA license preferred or willing to obtain ASAP, BLS, ACLS, recent case logs required
\n
• Competitive rate, mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
