PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT 4E MEDICAL TELEMETRY

4E is a 32 bed medical telemetry unit that serves an adult population of stable patients with a variety of diagnoses including cellulitis, chest pain, shortness of breath, COVID, low blood pressure, COPD, etc. 4E is a busy unit that is a great place for new grad nurses to build and solidify their skills. Teamwork and friendly, upbeat staff provide excellent patient care and help the unit run smoothly. No call or rotating shifts.

POSITION SUMMARY:
\n A caregiver that is responsible for providing or assisting with patients' care, transporting, maintaining a safe and clean environment, monitoring equipment function and responsible for documenting on appropriate forms. The Patient Care Assistant must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to age groups according to specific chronological age, developmental age and/or psycho-social maturity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
\n High school diploma or GED required.

Required length of experience:
\n Six (6) months of prior healthcare experience required.
\n STNA preferred but not required.

Required licensure, certification, and/or registry:
\n BLS required, may obtain within 90 days of hire.
