The Work You'll Be Doing
\nIn this role, you will:
\n- \n
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision aerospace components \n
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications \n
- Program and edit CNC lathe programs using G-code \n
- Select tooling, establish offsets, and verify workholding setups \n
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency \n
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections \n
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and gauges \n
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize production processes \n
- Perform routine machine maintenance and preventative care \n
- Work closely with fellow machinists and quality personnel to meet production schedules \n
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment \n

What We're Looking ForRequired

- 10+ years of CNC lathe machining experience \n
- Strong CNC setup, programming, and machine operation skills \n
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings \n
- Experience using precision inspection equipment \n
- Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, and machining processes \n
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability \n
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
Preferred

- Aerospace manufacturing experience \n
- Experience in highly regulated industries \n
- CNC machining certification or technical training \n
- CAD/CAM software experience \n
