Locum Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA
Job Description
A well-established trauma-designated hospital in Greater Denver, Colorado is seeking locum CRNA coverage now through August 2025 to help fill short-term scheduling gaps across two campuses. Providers will work daytime hospital-based shiftsno call requiredin a supervised model with physician support.

\nStart Date: As soon as credentialed
\nAssignment Through: August 2025
\nSchedule: 7a starts | 10-, 12-, or 14-hour shifts (including some weekends)
\nSites: Two facilities in the Greater Denver area; shifts assigned based on need
\nCall: None
\nCase Types: Ortho, General Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery, Spine
\nModel: CRNA-supervised (4:1); MDs perform blocks
\nVolume: Shift-based PRN-style scheduling
\nEMR: Epic training and module completion required prior to start
\nRequired Skills
\nCRNAs must be proficient in epidurals
\nVentilation management
\nNo central line or block placement required
\nCandidate Requirements
\nNBCRNA Certified
\nActive Colorado License Required for temp privileges
\nACLS/BLS
\n2+ years experience as a CRNA including epidurals
\nClean background / NPDB self-inquiry preferred
\nMust complete Epic EMR training steps (modules, virtual training, EUPA, PPL)
\nWilling to commit to 68 shifts/month, starting June
\nCompensation & Logistics
\nCompetitive rates based on commitment and arrangement
\nHoliday: 1.5x hourly rate
\nOrientation: Paid after 8 hours at 50% of standard rate
\nTravel: Hotel + mileage covered (no air travel reimbursement)
\nCredentialing: ~60 days standard; emergency temp privileges possible
