Furnace Repair 1st - shift

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Inspect furnaces, ladles and funnels for wear.
• Remove damaged or worn parts and linings using chisels, hammers, bars, etc.
• Repair or rebuild melt furnaces, linings, ladles and funnels.
• Maintain inventory of parts, lining materials, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good general knowledge of induction furnaces.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with a variety of refractory materials.
