\n-Dental services include exams, urgent same day/next day dental care, x-rays, prophylaxis, fillings, extractions, anterior root canals, sealants, health education, and dental screening, cleaning and fluoride varnish for children age 5 and under during a medical visit.\n
\n
\nJob Duties:\n
\n-Provide basic primary dental care for patients including diagnostic, preventive, restorative, periodontal, oral surgery, and anterior endodontic services.\n
\n-Provide patient referrals to specialists when procedures fall outside the scope of service the provider is able to provide, impacted teeth, surgical periodontal and endodontic procedures, and orthodontic procedures.\n
\n-Facilitate oral health education for patients both clinically and in outreach settings.\n
\n-Consult with patients’ physicians when appropriate.\n
\n-Maintain legible, legal documentation in patient charts as directed by department policies.-\n
\n-Participate in continuing education to stay abreast on new techniques and procedures in the field of dentistry.\n
