A California Facility Seeks a Locum Tenens Pediatric Hospitalist

Key Responsibilities

• 24-hour on-call duty, with a minimum commitment of 7 shifts each month.
• Shift coverage from 6 AM to 6 AM.
• Work within a hospital environment.
• Manage a daily census of newborn inpatients, typically ranging from 0 to 6.
• Handle 0 to 2 admissions per day.
• Perform essential procedures including intubation, IV starts, lumbar punctures, non-invasive ventilation, and umbilical venous catheterization.

Qualifications

• Current certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are mandatory.
• Board certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranges from $125.00 to $150.00, with rates influenced by factors such as the urgency of the position, your experience, and qualifications.
