Position Overview:
This role involves delivering X-Ray services to patients, adhering to the student scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and position patients while selecting exposure parameters under direct supervision.
- Adhere to safety standards and radiation protection protocols.
- Assist supervising technologists and physicians during various imaging procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Accurately position patients and determine anatomical and technical specifications.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- Maintain a state of alertness and operate safely at all times.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited radiology program.
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Regularly required to stand and walk.
- Frequent use of vision for both near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) distances.
- Regularly communicate verbally, requiring good hearing and speech.
- Ability to hear body sounds and alarms from equipment.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Regularly assist in moving patients.
- Frequent reaching, gripping, and data entry tasks.
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing between 25-50 lbs.
- Occasional color vision for distinguishing hues.
- Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and repetitive movements of limbs.
- Rarely required to kneel or sit.

- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
