Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, acting as a patient advocate to ensure an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.
  • Carry out procedures or tasks as directed by the medical provider.
  • Accurately document care provided in the patient's medical record in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Qualifications Required:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 months of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be acquired within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree in nursing.

Our medical staff comprises around 500 physicians across more than 45 specialties, many of whom have offices on-site.
