Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, acting as a patient advocate to ensure an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.
• Carry out procedures or tasks as directed by the medical provider.
• Accurately document care provided in the patient's medical record in a timely manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications Required:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 months of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be acquired within 30 days of starting employment.
• Must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree in nursing.

Our facility proudly serves Rutherford County, Tennessee, with a 100-bed hospital providing comprehensive medical care for both adults and children, including emergency and surgical services. Our medical staff comprises around 500 physicians across more than 45 specialties, many of whom have offices on-site.
