The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Endocrinology, has a faculty position for an Endocrinologist, who will join our team at the regions leading quaternary referral center. This is a role for someone who wants to balance high-complexity clinical care with a genuine passion for teaching and clinical research.

\n

In this position, you will manage a diverse patient panel in an ambulatory setting and provide inpatient consults in an academic environment; youll be working closely with medical students, residents, and fellows to help shape their clinical skills. Youll also have the resources to stay active in research, from clinical trials to grant-funded studies, within our Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Genetics.

  • Provide high-level endocrine care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • \n
  • Manage complex cases and participate in call rotation
  • \n
  • Participate in division research and clinical trials
  • \n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to include fellows, residents and medical students as well as certified diabetic educators and advanced practice providers to improve patient outcomes
  • \n
\n

Required Qualifications:

    \n
  • MD, DO or equivalent
  • \n
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Endocrinology
  • \n
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship.
  • \n
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
  • \n
\n
