This position is a part of the Broome Oncology practice, which is a well-established, busy practice with four physicians, five nurse practitioners covering two clinics and three hospitals. Currently, we are the only Oncology practice in a 60-mile radius.

\n Our practice diagnoses and treats all adult disease states, referrals are sent out when necessary. Case load varies between 22 to 30 patients / day. Each location has chemotherapy biotherapy infusion centers with an onsite lab. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 12 Noon. One doctor each week provides Hospitalist coverage, with no clinic responsibilities during this time. On call rotation 24/7, w/ N.P.s often taking first call on weekends.

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible physician in both Hematology and Medical Oncology to practice 2 days per week in Norwich and 3 days a week in Johnson City, New York at our medical oncology practice. Successful candidates will possess excellent clinical, communication and time management skills, as well as a strong commitment to providing excellent team oriented care.

This opportunity includes a highly competitive benefit package including five weeks of paid time off, 401K, profit sharing and a defined benefit plan. Three (3) year partnership track, with buy in. Currently the group has five partners and one employed physician. Base salary of $550,000, with further sign on bonuses, relocation allowance and loan repayments negotiable dependent upon experience.
