Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist in Northern New Hampshire
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT) to join our laboratory team. This role is essential to delivering accurate, timely lab results that directly support patient care and clinical decision-making.
Position Summary\nThe Medical Technologist performs moderate- to high-complexity testing across multiple laboratory disciplines, including blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology/immunology, urinalysis, and phlebotomy. This role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Perform and analyze laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids \n
- Ensure accuracy of results and troubleshoot discrepancies as needed \n
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation \n
- Follow all quality control and regulatory standards \n
- Properly collect, label, and handle specimens \n
- Communicate critical results to providers and nursing staff \n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant lab environment \n
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts \n

Qualifications Education Required\n- \n
- Bachelors or better. \n
- \n
- Certification as MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) or similar national certification. Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field. \n
- Preferred: 1-2 years of experience preferred. Phlebotomy experience or certification is a plus. \n
