Locum Tenens PA - Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery Job in IL

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday; options for three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour days (preferred)
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule: one weekend per month and one weeknight call every four weeks
• Care exclusively for a pediatric patient population
• Engage in operating room duties and patient rounds within a hospital environment
• Be part of a first assist team consisting of one fellow, one technician, and three physician assistants
• Prior experience as a pediatric cardiac surgical first assistant is mandatory
• Perform procedures such as heart transplants, VAD, ECMO, PDA ligation, among others
• Handle approximately two pulmonary artery reconstruction cases per month, with procedures lasting over 24 hours

Hourly pay ranges from $105.00 to $138.00. These figures are estimates and can vary based on several factors, including the urgency of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
