• Dedicated team of two heart failure and heart transplant cardiologists, two dedicated nurse practitioners, two transplant coordinators, a
  \n psychologist and a licensed clinical social worker

• Norton Childrens Heart Institute offers full-service congenital heart disease care, including complex neonatal surgery; pediatric ventricular
  \n assist device; and heart transplant, catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
\n
• Growing practice of 23 cardiologists, 13 advanced practice providers and other specially trained cardiac staff
\n
• Busy clinical practice performing more than:\n

  • 350 heart surgeries
  \n
  • Six heart transplants in 2022
  \n
  • 397 cardiac catheterizations
  \n

• Institute participates in numerous national registries and collaboratives, including the Pediatric Heart Transplant Society and Advanced Cardiac
  \n Therapies Improving Outcomes Network (ACTION)

• Academic position as an assistant or associate professor of pediatrics at the UofL School of Medicine
