Senior Mechanical Estimator.

We are hiring an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator. As a Senior Mechanical/Piping/Structural Steel Estimator, in Either Nederland, TX or Mobile AL you will be responsible for calculating accurate major construction cost estimates, and you will be involved in the planning, development, negotiation, and contract execution of these projects.

Senior Estimator Responsibilities:

• Determine the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, labor and in-directs for industrial construction projects.
\n
• Research construction documents and analyzing specifications.
\n
• Prepare estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work.
\n
• Prepare estimates to meet project goals, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best deals with vendors and subcontractors.
\n
• Ensure that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline.
\n
• Regularly report to Management and keep clients updated on the project status.
\n
• Identify risks, formulate contingency plans, and effectively manage risks that might impact cost and schedule of the estimates.
\n
• Keep track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.
\n
• Collaborate with other teams, conduct site visits, and provide other services, like bid deliveries, when required.
\n

Senior Estimator Requirements:

\n
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
\n
• At least seven (7) years of experience as an Estimator in the industrial construction field.
\n
