Physician - Primary Care - Full Time in Maine
Job Description
Our organization, a 25-bed critical access hospital, is actively seeking a full-time or part-time primary care physician to join our skilled and collaborative team. As part of a comprehensive healthcare network, our Primary Care team provides expert, patient-focused medical services across various locations, including Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Waldoboro, and Wiscasset in Maine.
Key Responsibilities- Build long-lasting relationships with patients, delivering high-quality and compassionate care to individuals and families.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional primary care services that improve community health and well-being.
As a designated HPSA worksite and a not-for-profit entity, primary care providers at our hospital may qualify for federal student loan repayment programs, including:
- HRSA National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness

Qualifications & Experience- Education/Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or an equivalent program.
- Licenses/Certifications: Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Ability to secure and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
The annual base salary for this position is $257,500. Total compensation packages may also include recruitment bonuses, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives based on eligibility.
