Compensation: $45.90 - $51.20 per hour, depending on prior experience.

Qualifications (What You Bring)
- A master’s degree in Speech Pathology, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or at least one year of experience working with adults and children with neurological disorders, including issues related to language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing. The candidate should also be capable of working independently within the department.
- A valid Speech Pathology license in the state (where applicable) or actively acquiring the necessary supervisory experience for licensure.
- Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration.
- Preferred membership in the Speech Language Hearing Association.
- Preferred membership in the Speech Hearing Association.
- A keen interest in geriatric rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
The Speech Therapist will deliver ongoing therapy to clients promptly, following physician directives. You will communicate client progress within the agency. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess and treat clients, liaise with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members, and maintain accurate documentation of services.
- Assess clients and develop effective treatment plans as requested by physicians, obtaining necessary approvals for services.
- Initiate prescribed treatments and keep the physician informed about client progress.
- Ensure proper documentation in compliance with state, federal, and third-party payer regulations.
- Adhere to the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
- Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
