Job Description
Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent health system serving the diverse communities of Queens, New York, is in search of a physician leader to fill the role of Chief of Orthopedics. This position is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care for various musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the administration, planning, organization, and overall management of the Orthopedics Department.
- Develop and implement a strategic vision focused on quality, growth, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the creation of new clinical programs tailored to the needs of the community.
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic care and services to patients across all age groups.
- Must possess an MD or DO degree and be board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Hold a valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.
- Demonstrated strong clinical skills, teaching experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Previous experience in management or leadership roles, particularly within academic medical centers or public health systems, is preferred.
