Quick Facts Location: Reno, NV (1155 Mill Street) Start Date: 04/28/2026 Shift: Typically full-time hours; schedule discussed upon offer Hours/week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Permanent, full-time Experience: Board Certified/Eligible Pediatrician, with residency within the local area preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (please note this appears to be a placeholder; salary details discussed during interview) Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Competitive salary ($190K – $230K based on experience) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage Healthcare FSA & Dependent Care FSA Health Savings Account (HSA) options 401(k) retirement plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Paid sick time adhering to applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement when applicable Supportive employer culture focused on well-being and work-life balance Opportunity to live in a no state income tax location with excellent outdoor activities What You’ll Do Provide inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward with an average daily census of 16-18 patients Perform newborn nursery examinations Conduct pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and intensivists Work closely with a dedicated 16-bed PICU team Participate in teaching pediatric residents and medical students Engage in an academic environment through affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine Deliver high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care at a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California What You Need Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatrics Active Nevada medical license, or ability to obtain one Minimum of 1+ years of pediatric inpatient experience preferred Key skills: strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a passion for pediatric care About the Assignment This full-time position is based at a leading hospital in Reno, NV, providing comprehensive pediatric inpatient services.
