Job Description

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist for our small but fun Jenison office. If you are motivated, outgoing, and enjoy your work, we have great patients and staff waiting to meet you. Whether you have years of experience, or are a new grad, we are excited to meet and work with you!

Office Hours

• Monday: 8:00am-4:00pm
\n
• Tuesday: 11:00am-7:00pm
\n
• Wednesday: 11:00am-7:00pm
\n
• Thursday: 8:00am-4:00pm
\n

Responsibilities

\n
• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible
\n
• Sterilize dental instruments
\n
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
\n
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
\n
• Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
\n
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
\n
• Take X-rays
\n
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
