Seeking a full time dynamic Cath Lab Technician who is passionate about helping others and is a team player!

Accepting Position: Cath Lab Technician / Surgical Technician/ Radiology Technician /Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
\nschedule: 4- 10-hour shifts, on call 1 night per week and every 5th weekend
\nShift: Full Time Days

Position Summary
\nProvides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
\n\n
Essential Functions:

Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
\n - \n
Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.
\n - \n
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
\n - \n
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
\n - \n
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
\n - \n
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.
\n

Required Skills:
\nRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Education/ Certification
\n- \n
- Current ARRT or RCIS certification required. \n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required \n
- Accepting candidates - Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) CI, RCIS, Certified Paramedic (CST) and Certified Surgical Technologist - preferred \n
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position required. \n
- \n
Associate's degree from Radiological Technology program required. Education requirements may be waived in exchange with equivalent years of Cath Lab Tech experience
