Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

My client, a community hospital in middle Vermont, is looking for an Ultrasound Technologist.

This is a full-time, permanent position with comprehensive benefits. They have multiple shifts available.

Responsibilities:

\n
• Works under the supervision, provider, or department leadership
\n
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and procedures.
\n
• Recognizes cross-sectional anatomy.
\n
• Provides excellent customer service and complies with hospital policies and procedures.
\n
• Properly records patient exams and patient results.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent
\n
• Graduated from an accredited ultrasound program
\n
• Prior experience or training in general abdomen ultrasound, OB/GYN, pelvic, transvaginal, breast, carotid/venous studies, and small parts
\n
• sARDMS certified or ARDMS eligible (must become certified within first year of employment),and must be scheduled to take or have already passed the ARDMS Sonography Principles and Instrumentation Exam
\n
• BLS Certification
