Obstetrics & Gynecology, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNPBC)

NYMD Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) to join our growing women's health practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive gynecologic and preventive care to women in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive women's health evaluations and annual well-woman examinations.
\n
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions.
\n
• Provide contraception counseling and family planning services.
\n
• Evaluate and treat menopause-related conditions.
\n
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic tests.
\n
• Educate patients regarding treatment options, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
\n
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program.
\n
• Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
\n
• Current Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (WHNP-BC) required.
\n
• DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of women's health or gynecology experience preferred.
\n
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\n

Requirements

Only candidates certified as Women's Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNP-BC) will be considered. Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioners (ANP), and other NP specialties are not eligible for this position.
