Job Opportunity: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician

Our organization is currently looking for a full-time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Farmington, Maine.

The ideal candidate will become part of a vibrant team that includes two physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers (APP), supported by exceptional staff. Our primary care services encompass:

  • Physical examinations
  • Women's health assessments
  • Sick visits
  • Well-child visits
  • School and sports physicals
  • Management of chronic health issues

On-site blood work and lab services are available, with inpatient care provided at Franklin Hospital. The call schedule is 1:6, and there may be occasional nursing home rounds. This position also offers opportunities to teach nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students from the University of New England's UNECOM program and Tufts University Medical School.

Qualifications
  • MD/DO from an accredited medical institution
  • Completion of a Family/Internal Medicine Residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family/Internal Medicine
  • Experience in Family/Internal Medicine is preferred but not mandatory

We are proud to be a designated National Health Service Corps site, allowing primary care physicians to access additional competitive loan repayment programs through NHSC. Additionally, we qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

The annual base salary for this position is $257,500. Total compensation packages may also include recruitment bonuses, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives based on eligibility.
