Our organization is on the lookout for a committed physician to take on the role of Director at our Outpatient OB-GYN Clinic within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This leadership position presents a remarkable chance to influence the clinical, educational, and programmatic aspects of our resident-focused outpatient practice, while also advancing a specialized gynecology career in a vibrant, university-affiliated community hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer clinical leadership and oversight for the OB-GYN resident outpatient clinic.

  • Guide and mentor residents in patient care, professional growth, and evidence-based practices.

  • Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration with subspecialty providers in areas such as Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Family Planning.

  • Establish a gynecology practice within the hospital’s Women’s Specialty Center.

  • Lead the creation of a comprehensive Menopause & Midlife Health Program, utilizing institutional resources for multidisciplinary care.

  • Engage in the formation of a referral-based gynecologic surgical practice, with mentorship opportunities available.

  • Contribute to initiatives focused on quality, safety, and patient-centered care in outpatient women’s health.

  • No responsibilities related to OB call.

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

  • Preference for candidates with interest or experience in menopause and midlife women’s health.

  • Must be eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut.
