NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Marble Falls, TX.

Three 12 hour shifts per week/ 32-36 hours per week - 130 hours per month,

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • \n

    Evaluate and treat patients in an urgent care and occupational health setting

  • \n
  • \n

    Provide compassionate, patient-centered care consistent with NextCares mission

  • \n
  • \n

    Communicate clear treatment plans and next steps with patients

  • \n
  • \n

    Document all encounters accurately in the EHR

  • \n
  • \n

    Appropriately code and bill for services

  • \n
  • \n

    Maintain productivity standards consistent with peers

  • \n
  • \n

    Deliver ethical, high-quality clinical care

  • \n
  • \n

    Provide follow-up care as needed

  • \n
Required Qualifications\n
    \n
  • \n

    Active, unrestricted Texas PA or NP license

  • \n
  • \n

    Active DEA

  • \n
  • \n

    NCCPA certification (PA) or ANCC/AANP certification (NP)

  • \n
  • \n

    NP candidates must be certified to treat all ages (e.g., FNP)

  • \n
  • \n

    Bachelors degree (PA) or Masters degree (NP)

  • \n
  • \n

    Active BLS certification

  • \n
  • \n

    Comfortable treating patients of all ages

  • \n
  • \n

    Proficient with EHR systems

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to work occasional weekends/holidays

  • \n
Preferred Qualifications\n
    \n
  • \n

    Experience interpreting preliminary X-rays

  • \n
  • \n

    Suturing experience

  • \n
  • \n

    Masters degree for PAs

  • \n
  • \n

    Previous experience in urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in clinics

  • \n
  • DOT Certification may be required; if not certified, we will register and cover the cost after hire
  • \n
