What We're Looking For

\n Novant Health is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to cover shifts in our Charlotte Region hospitals

Opportunity Highlights:

• 12 hour day shift \n
  \n
  • Option to pick up call
  \n
\n
• Weekend and weekday shifts available
\n
• Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for assigned patients in our behavioral health unit
\n
• Option to pick up shifts at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC and Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC
\n

\n
\n
Candidate Qualifications:\n
\n

\n
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
\n
• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
\n
• Current MD license in appropriate state
\n
• Current DEA license required
\n

\n
\n
Responsibilities & Duties:\n
\n

\n
• Patient population: 18+ for acute care
\n
• Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
\n
• Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing, therapy and support staff
\n

\n
