Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Join a Growing, High-Performing Team
\nMercyOne Genesis is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our growing orthopedic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a foundational member of a new and rapidly developing orthopedic practice, with the autonomy to shape, build, and elevate a comprehensive spine program from the ground up.
\nWe are seeking a fellowship-trained spine surgeon with expertise across the full spectrum of degenerative, traumatic, and deformity-related spinal conditions. This role offers a balance of complex surgical work, general spine care, and collaboration with a strong network of primary care, pain management, neurology, and rehabilitation services. With dedicated OR access, robust APP support, and strong system-wide infrastructure, youll have everything you need to build a thriving, high-impact spine practice.

Qualifications

- MD or DO \n
- \n
- Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Spine Surgery \n
- \n
- ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible required \n
- \n
- Ability to obtain Iowa and Illinois medical licenses \n
- \n
- Strong clinical and surgical skill set across cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine care \n
- \n
- Excellent communicator with a team-oriented mindset \n
- \n
- Welcoming to graduating fellows and experienced spine surgeons \n
Compensation & Benefits

- Two-year guaranteed salary: $739,410, with production beginning at 10,650 wRVUs \n

- Straight production model starting year 3 \n

- Earning potential of $1M+ annually \n
