\nExtraordinary opportunity for a compassionate, dedicated, and forward-thinking General Pediatrics provider keen to build a busy practice.

Position Summary:
\nThe General Pediatrics program provides outpatient care and acute care consultations for children as part of the Valley Medical Group and Valley-Mount Sinai Childrens Health Service line in northern New Jersey. This provider would the principal provider for our clinic in Wayne, NJ; in partnership with our General Pediatrics team which comprises 2 physicians and 2 APNs currently covering 3 locations. Educational opportunities include attendance to educational events at Mount Sinai Kravis Childrens Hospital (Grand Rounds and CME events), participation in our Valley-Mount Sinai Childrens Health yearly symposium and regional/national AAP events. Opportunity is also there for interaction and ability to educate clients, interested community groups, and help support our broader community-based services for families and our pediatric populations. Additionally, there is an opportunity to work with and mentor medical students from the Icahn school of medicine who come to Valley Health System for the core Pediatric Clerkship rotations. Physician in this role will also participate in Department of Pediatrics activities though all our locations, this includes the Kireker Center for Child Development (KCCD), and participation in Valley Hospital Committee in representation of the Division, as deemed appropriate by the Director and Chair.
\nClinical requirements include Board Certification (eligibility) in General Pediatrics, ability to work collaboratively with our Peds Specialty teams and community obstetricians.
\nIn this position, you will be part of a larger multi-specialty group including experienced providers in Endocrinology, Developmental Pediatrics, Gastroenterology and Nutrition, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, Food Allergy, Cardiology, and PM&R, all in collaboration with the Mount Sinai Kravis Childrens Hospital and the Mount Sinai Health System. Academic appointments at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital are possible based on previous academic ranking and productivity.

Qualifications

- Board eligible or certification in Pediatrics \n
- Existing or Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS required \n
