Compensation

Weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts.

The starting pay for this position ranges from $17.00 to $23.00 per hour. Please note that compensation may vary based on experience. Salary decisions will consider the specific requirements outlined in the job description, including training, experience, work location, any required travel, and external market conditions. Job Responsibilities

As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you will carry out a variety of tasks within our Automotive Service Center. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Providing exceptional customer service
• Repairing and installing tires
• Balancing wheels
• Installing batteries, headlamps, and other basic automotive components
• Performing oil changes
• Repairing brake systems
• Fixing starting and charging systems
• Working on steering and suspension systems
• Installing shocks and struts
• Conducting alignments
• Installing trailer hitches and wiring
• Completing other assigned duties with ongoing on-the-job training

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Availability to work evenings and at least every other weekend
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently
• Effective communication with customers and colleagues is required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous auto repair experience is preferred
• Prior retail experience is also preferred
• *For Michigan Stores Only* ASE A4 and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level II, while ASE A3, A4, A5, and A6 Certifications are necessary for Tech Level III, or equivalent Michigan certifications.
