We are looking for a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program at a regional medical center located in Denison, Texas. This full-time position emphasizes academic involvement, allowing you to mentor and educate future physicians while balancing a fulfilling clinical practice in a collaborative and supportive teaching atmosphere.

- Schedule / Hours: Combination of clinical, teaching, and administrative duties
- Call: Limited on-call responsibilities, adjusted according to program needs
- Patient Volume: Manageable clinical workload with designated academic time
- Location: Denison, Texas (approximately 60 miles north of Dallas)
- Practice Setting: Academic, hospital-based Family Medicine Residency Program
- Support / Care Team: Collaborate with the Program Director, faculty physicians, residents, and an interdisciplinary team
- EMR / Technology: Utilize modern EMR and teaching resources
- Deliver outpatient and/or inpatient Family Medicine care while overseeing residents
- Act as a clinical instructor, engaging in didactic sessions, curriculum design, and resident education
- Assess resident performance and assist in recruitment initiatives
- Ensure adherence to institutional and accreditation standards for the program
- Engage in scholarly activities and contribute to program development
- Document patient care using the hospital's EMR system

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active or eligible Texas medical license
- Preferred experience in teaching, mentoring, or academic medicine
- Obstetrics experience or fellowship training is a plus
- Interest or experience in prenatal care and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is advantageous
