Registered Dental Hygienist

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8-5 Tuesday through Friday, flexible days--up to applicant

License/Certification

• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program

• State dental hygiene license

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices.

• Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.

• Proficient in managing medical records accurately and efficiently.

• A compassionate approach towards patient care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and comprehensive oral assessments.
\n
• Perform precise and patient-focused dental X-rays.
\n
• Apply fluoride and sealants while respecting each patient’s preferences and needs.
\n
• Educate and actively engage patients in their oral care journey.
\n
• Work closely with the doctors to align with patients' goals, ensuring a unified approach to treatment plans and optimal patient outcomes.
\n
• Implement follow-up procedures to monitor progress and ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
\n
• Maintain hygiene instruments and equipment, utilizing cutting-edge sterilization techniques to support a well-functioning, collaborative environment.
