A large, award-winning, state-of-the-art, top teaching hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Physicist to join their Radiation Department.

\nPatient population: Adults and geriatric

Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrist to develop individualized radiation treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. \n
- Perform routine and periodic quality assurance on radiation therapy equipment (e.g., linear accelerators, imaging systems) to ensure precise and accurate delivery of radiation. \n
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, protocols, and regulations. \n
- Calculate, verify, and monitor radiation doses to ensure treatments are delivered with optimal accuracy while minimizing harm to surrounding healthy tissue. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest advances in radiation therapy technologies, including emerging treatment modalities, and contribute to research initiatives to improve patient outcomes. \n
- Work closely with clinical staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that the treatment plans are executed safely and effectively. \n
