Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist who has completed fellowship training. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a leading community-based Advanced Heart Failure Program in Iowa, where you will collaborate with a dedicated team of specialists to provide cutting-edge therapies and foster innovation in heart failure management throughout the region.

Opportunity Highlights

• Be part of a team consisting of 4 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider.
• Manage an average of 13-17 patients daily in the clinic.
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:4 weeks.
• Utilize the recently approved Barostim procedure.
• Engage in implantable fluid monitoring, LVAD management, echocardiogram interpretation, nuclear medicine, and various cardiac imaging/testing.
• Each provider will have access to two exam rooms.
• Opportunity for shared outreach clinics once a month.
• Serve a tertiary service area with a population of 1.5 million.

• Base Salary: $624,834
• Recruitment incentive of $75,000
• Malpractice insurance coverage with tail coverage included

Recognized as one of the top 50 cardiovascular hospitals by Fortune/IBM Health, our center comprises 44 physicians and provides a wide range of services, including General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Preventative Cardiology, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.

Our accredited Cardiology Fellowship program hosts 8 fellows and operates from 8 primary office locations, serving over 15 outreach facilities across Iowa. With an active clinic research department, we participate in major STS registries and conduct more than 10,000 cardiac interventions annually.
