Overview

The Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care sector is rapidly growing, offering excellent opportunities and a flexible work-life balance (no on-call duties or weekend shifts)! We are looking for a healthcare provider to fill a part-time role, working 32 hours over four days, across two facilities located in Frederick, MD, and Walkersville, MD: Autumn Lake Healthcare at Ballenger Creek and Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glade Valley. This position is open to either a nurse practitioner or a physician assistant, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience required.

The salary for this role ranges from $56.73 to $59.13 per hour, along with an incentive compensation bonus program that has no cap.

Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider will report directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager. This role involves collaborating on-site with the Center Leadership Team to meet specific goals and priorities. Additionally, the Advanced Practice Provider will work alongside the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician to deliver patient-centered medical care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing primary and urgent care services to residents of the nursing center in partnership with other medical professionals.
  • Working closely with Center Leadership to fulfill our mission of enhancing lives through high-quality healthcare and compassionate service.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Advanced Practice Provider role must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a valid registered nurse license. Nurse Practitioners should be certified after completing an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing, focusing on Older Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialties. Other specialties may be considered based on experience and organizational needs. Physician Assistants must have graduated from an ARC-PA accredited program and passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to use the PAC designation, along with state licensure and NCCPA certification.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A minimum of two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations.
  • In states where permitted, APRNs should possess an unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state of practice. PAs must also have an unrestricted professional license and DEA for their respective states.

Note: Restrictions may apply based on collective bargaining agreements, state laws, and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service. To qualify for full-time benefits, a minimum of 30 hours per week is required. Salary Range: USD $56.73 - USD $59.13 per hour.
