\nHighly skilled nursing and surgical teams\n
\nStructured Mentor program\n

\nNurse-to-patient ratios:\n
\nLabor & Birth: 1:2\n
\nHigh Risk: 1:1 (based on acuity)\n
\n
\nA dynamic program combining:\n
\nSimulation-based training\n
\nClassroom lectures by clinical educators\n
\nHands-on preceptorship on the unit\n

Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Experience: 1+ year Labor & Birth RN experience (or new grad for residency) \n
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school \n
- License: Current RN license in hiring state or compact license \n
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, ACLS (Labor RNs will receive Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate training) \n
- National certifications (RNC-OB, C-EFM) are encouraged \n
