Back Up Driver/ Sheet Metal Decking Installer

Location: Nationwide (100% Travel Required)

Compensation: $27 hr + $80 Per Diem

We are seeking an experienced Driver/Sheet Metal Deck Installer/Ironworker to join our team. This role involves the safe installation of sheet metal decking on steel framing and performing shear stud installation. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working at heights and in varied weather conditions. As a back up driver, you'd be available to drive the crew from their hotel or airbnb to the project in the company truck as well as install sheet metal decking, studs, and weld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay and attach metal decking on steel structures
\n
• Operate hand, power, pneumatic, and powder-actuated tools safely and effectively
\n
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
\n
• Accurately report time and attendance using technology
\n
• Comply with OSHA, customer, and company safety standards
\n
• Perform additional duties as assigned
\n

Preferred Certifications (Not Required but a Plus):

• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification
\n
• Welding Certification
\n
• Aerial Lift Certification
\n

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, non-exempt position
\n
• Work hours based on job site requirements
\n
