Position Overview: The Generalist Medical Technologist/MLT will perform a wide range of laboratory tests across various disciplines, including clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Perform and interpret a variety of laboratory tests, including those in clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology. \n
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and proper functioning. \n
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure accurate test results and maintain quality control. \n
- Collect and process patient specimens according to laboratory standards. \n
- Analyze test results and prepare reports for review by physicians or other healthcare professionals. \n
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment and procedures. \n
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, infection control protocols, and quality assurance practices. \n
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory activities and results. \n
- Provide support and guidance to other laboratory staff as needed. \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Minimum Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. \n
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or (MLT) by [relevant certifying body, e.g., ASCP, AMT] is required. \n
- 1 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred. \n
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety procedures. \n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. \n
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. \n
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. \n
