Job Description
Our organization is excited to present a full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible, Fellowship Trained Hematology/Oncology physician to join a thriving practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The chosen candidate will become part of a dynamic team consisting of five physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The role involves approximately 25% of time spent in inpatient care and 75% in outpatient services. The on-call schedule is 1:5, which includes one week of inpatient responsibilities along with after-hours clinic call (post 5:00 PM) during the week.
The Michael & Dianne Bienes Comprehensive Cancer Center features a bustling Hematology Oncology Clinic, an Infusion Center, a well-established Radiation Oncology division, and an active Surgical Oncology program focused on breast care and related services. The Cancer Center is staffed by a total of nine providers, including five APPs and three patient navigators.
The Infusion Center is equipped with 32 individual chairs and two private rooms, complemented by two outdoor atriums for the comfort of patients and staff. The Radiation Oncology department recently completed a three-year, $12 million upgrade, enhancing its technology with a TrueBeam Linear Accelerator, Ethos Halcyon Adaptive Treatment Accelerator, and Bravos Brachytherapy.
Support services available include social work, nutritional guidance, financial assistance programs, foundation support, specialized rehabilitation services, and a med spa offering massage, aromatherapy, and acupuncture.
Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
