Journeyman Electrician Residential Remodel & Addition Project
\nPay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday Friday | 40 Hours Per Week
Project Type: Large Residential Home Renovation & Addition
Summit Skilled Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for a large residential renovation and addition project. This position involves a complete gut and remodel of an existing home, along with electrical installation for a new addition. The ideal candidate will have strong residential electrical experience and be comfortable performing rough-in work, running Romex, and installing residential electrical systems from the ground up.
\nThis is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.
\nJob Responsibilities

- Perform electrical rough-in work for a complete residential home renovation and new addition. \n
- Run and secure Romex (NM cable) throughout the project. \n
- Install electrical boxes, switches, receptacles, and lighting circuits. \n
- Read and interpret residential electrical plans and specifications. \n
- Install branch circuits and assist with service and panel upgrades as required. \n
- Layout and install electrical systems in accordance with NEC and local building codes. \n
- Perform demolition and removal of existing electrical components during the gut phase of the project. \n
- Coordinate with other trades to maintain project schedules and workflow. \n
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards. \n
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite at all times. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred where applicable. \n
- Minimum of 3+ years of residential electrical experience. \n
- Extensive experience running Romex and performing residential rough-in work. \n
- Experience with residential remodels, additions, and service upgrades is highly preferred. \n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and residential construction plans. \n
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and residential wiring practices. \n
- Must have reliable transportation and standard electrical hand tools. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team. \n
