NP/PA- Cardiothoracic Surgery locum position in Flagstaff, Arizona (AZ)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to work locum shifts in Flagstaff, Arizona (AZ) starting 08/10/2026. The role offers on-going coverage and a competitive market rate.
\nThe Cardiothoracic Surgery role:
\nLocation: Flagstaff, Arizona (AZ)
\nStart date: 08/10/2026- Ongoing
\nSchedule: Mix of 8-hour day shifts (7a–3p) and call
\n• Night beeper call (3p–7a) on select weekdays
\n• 24-hour call shifts (7a–7a) on Sept 5–7
\n• Approx. 4 days/month plus call coverage
\nCoverage Dates:
\nOrientation – Aug 10 and/or Aug 30 7a-3pm 8 hour day
\nAug 11 -13: 7a-3pm 8 hour day + week night beeper call 14 hours
\nSept 1-4: 7a-3pm 8 hour day + week night beeper call 14 hours
\nSept 5 -6 7am-7am 24 hour call
\nSept 7 7am-7am 24 hour call (holiday)
\nSept 8 7a-3pm 8 hour day + week night beeper call 14 hours
\nSpecial Procedures: temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, Aline placement
\n• 199-bed hospital
\n• Adult/geriatric patient population
\n• 10–15 CVICU/step-down patients daily + 1–2 surgeries
\n• Surgeon support on service
\nEMR: Cerner
\nRequirements:
\nArizona license, active and unrestricted
\nNCCPA (PA) or NP certification (ANCC/AANP)
\nDEA, ACLS, BLS,
\n3+ years CT surgery experience
