Overview

Our organization is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a well-regarded outpatient primary care practice in Georgia for a long-term locum tenens role. The selected candidate will start at one clinic location in August and move to a second location in September. This position is entirely outpatient, with no on-call duties, admissions, inpatient responsibilities, or hospital privileges required.

Position Highlights

• Focus exclusively on outpatient Family Medicine
• Work schedule from Monday to Friday
• No on-call duties
• No inpatient responsibilities
• No hospital privileges necessary
• Utilize Epic EMR
• Collaborative clinical team, including RN, MA, NP/PA, and administrative staff
• Long-term assignment extending through the end of the year
• Opportunity to work with an established patient base

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct preventive care and wellness examinations
• Care for patients across all age groups, including:
• Newborns
• Infants
• Children
• Adolescents
• Adults
• Geriatric patients
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
• Work collaboratively with clinic staff to maintain high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active medical license in Georgia is mandatory
• Current BLS certification required
• Comfortable treating patients of all ages
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
